Insurance Coverage with Doctor Move
Doctor Move carries Commercial Insurance to protect your belongings while in transit. This covers damages in the event of an accident or if the truck overturns while transporting your items.
Customer Excess: This insurance includes a $500 excess, which is typically the customer's responsibility. However, in some cases, we may authorise covering this cost on your behalf.
If you require additional Comprehensive Transit Insurance for your goods during a local or interstate move, we can provide a policy that offers broader protection.
Our available coverage includes:
Full cover:
Repairs – After receiving three separate repair quotations.
Replacement/Compensation – Based on the current market value of the item(s), following an investigation and notification within our required timeframe.
If we are handling the claim directly, we will work with you to resolve it as quickly as possible. Otherwise, the claim will be transferred to our insurance claims team, at which point the processing time is beyond our control.
